Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

The first step is to contact Innovative Medical Center and schedule an initial consultation and examination. You can request an appointment here or call our office at (559) 222-5362.

A member of our team will gather some basic information about your symptoms, concerns, and scheduling needs. From there, we will help you determine the appropriate next step.

In most cases, you do not need a referral to schedule an appointment at Innovative Medical Center. Patients are welcome to contact our office directly to arrange an initial consultation and examination.

Some insurance plans may require a referral, prior authorization, or specific documentation. Our team can help review the information available to us and explain what may apply to your situation.

Innovative Medical Center works with patients experiencing a variety of pain, mobility, nerve, musculoskeletal, and wellness-related concerns.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Knee and joint pain
  • Neuropathy and nerve pain
  • Back and neck pain
  • Sciatica and disc-related conditions
  • Hip and shoulder pain
  • Arthritis and stiffness
  • Auto accident injuries
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Weight management
  • Mobility, balance, and functional limitations

The services recommended will depend on your symptoms, health history, examination findings, and individual goals.

The best way to determine whether you may be a good candidate is to schedule an initial consultation and examination.

During your visit, our providers will review your health history, current symptoms, previous treatments, goals, and examination findings. If imaging is needed, certain imaging may be completed conveniently in our office.

Once the necessary information has been gathered, our team will explain whether you may be a candidate for one of our programs and what options may be available. If we believe another type of care would be more appropriate, we will be honest with you and help guide you in the right direction.

We understand how frustrating it can be to try different treatments without experiencing the improvement you were hoping for.

Our first step is to understand what you have already tried, how your body responded, and what factors may still be contributing to your symptoms or limitations. This may include reviewing your health history, previous care, examination findings, imaging, and other relevant medical records.

No treatment or healthcare program can guarantee a specific result. If we believe you may be a candidate for care, we will explain the recommended approach, how it may differ from what you have tried previously, and what realistic expectations may look like.

If we do not believe our office is the right fit, we will be honest with you.

Yes. You are welcome to contact our office about a particular service, such as chiropractic care, neuropathy care, hormone therapy, functional rehabilitation, spinal decompression, weight management, or another program.

Before recommending a service, our team will need to understand your symptoms, health history, goals, and examination findings. The service you request may be appropriate on its own, or your provider may recommend a different or more comprehensive approach.

Any recommendations will be explained before you decide whether to begin care.

Patients are welcome to contact our office specifically about chiropractic care.

Our team will still want to understand your symptoms, health history, and goals before determining what type of care may be appropriate. For some patients, chiropractic care may be helpful on its own. For others, additional services or a more comprehensive plan may be recommended based on their examination findings.

Our goal is not to place every patient into the same program. It is to provide thoughtful recommendations based on each patient’s individual needs.

Innovative Medical Center is not currently able to accept new patients with an open or active workers’ compensation case or claim. We understand that these situations can be stressful, and we want to be upfront so you can seek the appropriate care.

For symptoms related to an auto accident, please call our office directly. Because every case is different, a member of our team will gather the necessary information, review the details of your situation, and help guide you through the appropriate next steps.

Your First Visit

Your first visit is designed to help our team understand what you are experiencing, what has or has not worked in the past, and what options may help you move toward better function, less pain, and an improved quality of life.

Your visit will typically begin with a detailed consultation. We will review your health history, current symptoms, areas of concern, previous treatments, and personal goals.

One of our providers will then perform an appropriate examination to better understand your condition and determine whether Innovative Medical Center may be a good fit for your needs. If imaging is recommended, certain imaging can be completed conveniently in our office.

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Your first visit is an opportunity for us to learn about you as an individual before making recommendations.

To help make your first visit as smooth and productive as possible, please bring:

  • A valid photo ID
  • Your insurance card, if applicable
  • A list of medications and supplements you currently take
  • Recent imaging reports or images related to your condition
  • Relevant laboratory results or medical records
  • Information about previous treatments, injections, surgeries, therapy, or specialist visits
  • A list of questions you would like to discuss

Having this information available can help our team better understand your needs and determine the appropriate next steps.

Yes. New-patient forms are available through our website and can be downloaded and completed before your appointment.

Please print and complete the necessary forms, then bring them with you. Completing your paperwork in advance can help make the check-in process easier and gives our team important information about your health history and current concerns.

Imaging is not automatically required for every patient.

Your provider will review your symptoms, health history, previous treatment, and examination findings before determining whether X-rays or other imaging may be appropriate.

If imaging is recommended, certain imaging can be completed conveniently in our office. If you already have recent X-rays, MRI results, or other imaging related to your condition, please bring the images or reports so our team can review them.

Yes. Previous imaging, laboratory results, treatment records, and specialist reports may help our team better understand your health history and what you have already tried.

Please bring relevant records to your appointment whenever possible. After reviewing them, your provider will determine whether any additional examination, imaging, testing, or documentation may be needed.

Treatment and Results

Treatment plans at Innovative Medical Center are designed around each patient’s condition, goals, health history, and examination findings.

The process begins with your initial consultation and examination. If imaging is needed, certain imaging can be completed in our office. Once the necessary information has been gathered, your provider will review the findings and determine whether you may be a good candidate for care.

Our team will then explain:

  • The recommended treatment plan
  • The purpose of each part of the plan
  • The expected frequency of visits
  • The overall goals of care
  • Financial details and available payment options

Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident about the recommended next steps before beginning care.

The length of a treatment plan depends on your condition, the severity and duration of your symptoms, your examination findings, and your individual health goals.

Because every patient is different, your provider will recommend a plan based on what is considered appropriate for your needs.

Our goal is to support meaningful, long-term improvement rather than focus only on temporary symptom relief.

Some patients may begin noticing changes within their first several visits, while others may require more time. Your response may depend on the condition being addressed, how long it has been present, your overall health, and how your body responds to care.

Our team will monitor your progress, answer your questions, and make recommendations based on how you are responding.

Results vary from person to person, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

Innovative Medical Center takes a whole-body, patient-centered approach to care.

Instead of focusing only on symptoms, our team works to understand the factors that may be contributing to your pain, dysfunction, or health concern. This allows us to recommend a plan based on your specific needs.

Having multiple services available under one roof also allows our team to evaluate your condition from different perspectives. Depending on your needs, your care may include:

• Provider examinations
• In-house imaging when appropriate
• Functional rehabilitation
• Neuropathy care
• Chiropractic care
• Spinal decompression
• Regenerative options
• Hormone therapy
• Weight-management support
• Other medical or wellness services

We also believe that patients deserve to feel heard, educated, and supported. Our team is committed to explaining your options clearly and helping you make informed decisions about your health.

No. Receiving care at Innovative Medical Center does not mean that you need to stop seeing your primary care physician or any other healthcare providers involved in your care.

Your primary care physician may continue to play an important role in managing your overall health, medications, laboratory work, referrals, and ongoing medical conditions.

We believe healthcare should be collaborative. When appropriate, we may also recommend that you follow up with your primary care physician or a specialist for concerns that fall outside the services provided by our office.

Please contact our office if you experience a significant change in your symptoms, develop a new concern, or have questions about how your body is responding to care.

Our team can document the change and help determine the appropriate next step. Do not wait until your next scheduled appointment if you are concerned about a significant change.

For severe, sudden, or potentially life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or seek emergency medical attention.

Insurance, Costs, and Payment

Innovative Medical Center accepts most major PPO insurance plans, including Medicare Part B.

Insurance participation and benefits can vary. Please call our office with your insurance information so a member of our team can help review what may apply to your situation.

Acceptance of an insurance plan does not guarantee that every recommended service will be covered.

No. Coverage depends on the service being recommended and the specific details of your insurance plan.

Some services may be eligible for insurance consideration, while others may be classified as elective, wellness-based, regenerative, or non-covered services.

Our team will review your recommended treatment plan and help explain which portions, if any, may be submitted for insurance consideration. Before beginning care, we will also review the financial details so you understand your options.

Because every patient’s needs, treatment recommendations, and insurance benefits are different, coverage is reviewed individually.

The cost of care depends on your condition, examination findings, recommended services, and the level of care needed to support your goals.

Because every patient is different, we do not quote a one-size-fits-all price before understanding your needs.

During your visit, our team will walk you through the recommended plan, payment details, and available financing options. You will have an opportunity to review the financial information before deciding whether to begin care.

Payment options depend on the services being recommended and whether any portion of your care is eligible for insurance consideration.

For services that are not covered by insurance, private-pay options are available. Financing may also be available for qualified patients.

Our goal is to make the financial process clear and straightforward, with no pressure and no surprises.

Yes. Innovative Medical Center accepts the CareCredit credit card as a financing option for qualified patients.

CareCredit may allow eligible patients to divide healthcare expenses into monthly payments. It may be used for certain services that are not covered, or not fully covered, by insurance.

CareCredit is subject to credit approval and CareCredit’s current terms and conditions. Our team can explain whether it may be used for your recommended services and help answer questions about the process.
